Self-Care, Fall Vibes


Fall is coming our way! The change in season is beautiful and refreshing, but sometimes comes with many other changes. Kids go back to school, the weather changes, and self-care starts to look different. Here are some quick and simple ways to engage in self-care throughout the work day. Yes, even from your office or your work from home nook. Take care of yourself!



  • Drink a warm cozy drink

    • Engage your senses in the taste, smell, and even the warm touch of your mug or cup. Notice the warming sensation throughout your body.

  • Wrap yourself in a blanket or sweater

    • Notice the feelings of these textures on your skin, recognize the warmth and comfort. Pairs nicely with a short guided meditation or listening to some music.

  • Read a chapter of your favorite spooky novel

    • Taking 5 or 10 minutes to read a chapter is nothing to feel ashamed of. It allows you to separate from your day and notice the calm and quiet.

  • Take a walk

    • Fall is a beautiful time of year and a simple stroll can do wonders both physiologically and physically. Notice the crisp scents, the light breeze, and the beautiful colors.
